STORY
BECCA GODLEWSKI
Birth Doula & Founder | she/her
I grew up in Massachusetts, where I studied photography and became a certified hot yoga instructor. Then, my dream to become a mother, business owner, and healer led me to California. I started my adventure in San Francisco, where I earned my master’s in clinical counseling and began my career as a mental health therapist. After 5 years in the city, I settled closer to the beaches in Southern California. I love going to the beach for self-care. Being in the sun and ocean recharges me and fills my soul with joy.
I began a new chapter in my life when I met my husband, and we welcomed our first child in 2019. It was during my pregnancy that I immersed myself in learning everything I could about birth. There is so much to honor and discover about this divine gift.
After researching my options, I chose to birth with a midwife at a birth center and prepared for an unmedicated birth. I took classes, read books, and hired a doula to help me. My journey was incredibly empowering, and my doula’s support was invaluable. This experience inspired me to become a doula, too, so that I could help others to feel empowered on their path.
MY
PHILOSOPHY
As a doula, my role is to support my clients and to be a guide when called upon. I encourage my clients to follow their instincts and to have faith in their bodies, their baby, and the birthing process. I am humbled to be a part of this transformative experience and to bear witness to each birth giver’s powerful embrace of their inner strength, insight, and courage.

The Collective
I was inspired to bring more doulas together to support each family as a village. By working together, we support our clients with our combined knowledge and skills and can provide a greater variety of services and resources. Through our collective energy, we create a stronger, more connected community.
